The historic building from the early 20th century was converted into a 50-room hotel in 2004. The AC Palacio del Retiro is a wonderful combination of an old-world building and modern design. Rooms and public areas are open, bright, and comfortable. The central location near Madrid’s famous museums with easy access to a number of interesting neighborhoods is ideal. Our favorite feature is the proximity to the Retiro Park – a perfect oasis for children that need an open space to run around making this property an excellent option for families seeking convenient, high-end accommodations. |

Privately owned, the Alva Park Resort and Spa opened in 2005. Hotel Arts is a stunning, modern property and a fantastic option for families that want a luxurious homebase while exploring Barcelona. Guest rooms have incredible city and sea views, and are spacious for a European city hotel. There are a number of configuration options for families including suites, connecting rooms, and duplex apartments with kitchen facilities. The location is wonderful for kids - right on a grassy walking promenade on the beach and a 5-minute taxi ride from the center of town. Service is exceptional.

Staying at Puente Romano is like staying in a botanical garden as there are no less than 400 different kinds of plants and flowers for families to explore, smell, and admire. Offering 261 rooms and suites, onsite amenities include a selection of kid-friendly restaurants, a famous tennis club with lessons for children of all ages (2.5 years old and up). Staying at Marbella Club is like staying in a small village with great amenities and services at every turn. With 84 rooms, 37 suites, and 14 villas, there are a number of accommodation categories that work well for families. The beach is wonderful and a fantastic place for children to play; meanwhile, the spa offers an array of treatments for a tired mom/dad or pregnant mom. Baby and toddler amenities are available on request and there is an excellent nanny service, as well as a kids' club for ages 4-14. There are a variety of exceptional restaurants in the hotel and they all welcome families. The staff has worked at the hotel for years including Count Rudi, the founding General Manager of the Marbella Club, is still at the hotel every day – after 60 years - to ensure guests are happy. |

We had our family reunion in Masia Bessones with a mix of children and adults. There are so many onsite amenities at this property that staying here was like being in our own private resort. The villa is well-equipped with several indoor and outdoor activities for the children: pool table, badminton, basketball, soccer/football field, swimming pool, and ping pong. There are lovely outdoor areas for dining al fresco and the views are spectacular. The owner was very knowledgeable about historic sites and made this vacation the best we've ever had. |
