The Affinia 50 offers an apartment-style atmosphere and amenities with hotel services. Primarily an all-suite hotel, most rooms include full kitchens and living areas. Guest rooms are shockingly spacious for New York City and easily accommodate families of 4-6 people. Updated rooms are set up for comfort and function more than style, but this is one of the features that makes it work well for a stay with kids. There is an appealing Club Room that is perfect for breaks with snacks and a TV. The Midtown location is fantastic, just blocks from Rockefeller Center and the excitement of 5th Avenue. |

The Affinia Chicago is a stylish, boutique hotel that is very kid-friendly too. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with large enough rooms for families to be comfortable. Kids have access to board games and cards, kid-focused city exploring tips, kids’ snacks, and free tickets to Navy Pier (even the trolley ride over). There’s an onsite restaurant and rooftop lounge, and the location is ideal for exploring Chicago, just one block off the Magnificent Mile on Michigan Avenue. |

Set on Lake Champlain, this resort captures the charm of an old-school family resort paired with modern day accommodations. The owners, the Beach Family, have perfected the art of hosting multi-generational families through an enormous range of activities (kids’ club, tennis, golf, fishing, biking, hiking, crafts and more) as well as nightly entertainment including tellers, s’mores by the fire, and even a talent show. Lakefront cottages with views of the Adirondack Mountains range in size and are configured perfectly for families with kitchenette facilities. There are multiple on-site dining options, snack shacks, and an ice cream bar. Meals are easy with a kid-friendly set–up including dinners that are served outside where kids can run around. We also enjoyed the coat and tie dinners—a formal affair without pretension. The best feature about Basin Harbor is the safe setting where children of ages have the freedom to roam on their own. There’s good reason why families return to this resort year after year. |

Bernardus Lodge is a cozy retreat set in the vineyards and mountains of the idyllic Carmel Valley. Although the property is a well-known romantic getaway, in recent years kids are frequent guests, particularly over the summer months. A few key amenities make it fun for them including an expansive croquet lawn and a lovely swimming pool. There is also a wonderful outdoor dining area. Those seeking quiet and romance still find it in the adult-only spa and the award-winning Marinus restaurant. In addition to the spectacular scenery, one nice benefit of Carmel Valley is that it is often sunny when the coast is foggy, yet this location still provides easy access to the Monterey Peninsula's numerous attractions for kids. |

As the grand dame of Boston’s waterfront, this hotel combines elegance, service, and location to deliver an unforgettable Boston experience. From the moment you are greeted by the bellmen in long coats and top hats, you know that you are in for a luxurious stay. The lobby sits right on Boston Harbor and takes advantage of the location with waterfront dining, music outside in the summer, and water taxi service to Logan and various other destinations. The Rose Kennedy walkway provides guests with easy access to The North End, The Financial District, and Fanueil Hall. It’s also within walking distance to the Aquarium, the Children’s Museum, the Fleet Center and the ICA. The rooms are spacious and the service is outstanding. My kids are fans of the saltwater pool—it doesn’t sting your eyes or dry your skin. Meanwhile, I love the pilates and yoga classes, as well as the nice gym. Kids are greeted with a welcome gift and games, and other amenities like strollers and bed rails are available on request. |

Carmel Valley Ranch is a wonderful destination with kids. The one-bedroom suite accommodations are perfect for families as there is a back bedroom plus a sofa bed in the living room so parents get a bit of privacy. Onsite amenities are numerous including the River Ranch area that is perfect for children and includes a swimming pool, hot tub, a toddler pool with a water spray play area, tree swings, bocce ball, basketball courts and lots of grass. There is also a beautiful infinity hot tub and more adult-oriented pool adjacent to the lobby of the hotel. Golf facilities are first rate and feature a natural grass driving range. The primary onsite restaurant is delicious, resort casual, and has an amazing glass wall wine cellar with an extensive selection. After dinner, families can gather around the fire pits for s’mores. Located just 20 or so minutes from many of the Monterey Peninsula's main attractions, Carmel Valley Ranch is resort that is relaxing for all ages and interests — we'll be back with our kids! |

Just steps from the beach, the Catamaran Resort is in an excellent location for all ages. Guest rooms are simply decorated but comfortable. Suites are spacious and many rooms have nice water views. There are plenty of restaurants nearby for those that want to walk to meals and the hotel offers free tickets in the evenings on the Bahia Belle boat (cruises through Mission Bay). Pricing is value-oriented for the space, room amenities, and location. |

Set near the Golden Gate Bridge in Sausalito, Cavallo Point Lodge is a historic retreat with easy access to phenomenal Bay Area activities. Guests are treated to a unique Bay Area experience – most of the lodge is comprised of turn-of-the-century buildings that were part of the original Fort Baker army post. Meticulous renovation work preserved original features and recycled materials whenever possible - the result is an eco-friendly yet luxurious atmosphere. The décor is modern and cozy with a stunning art collection. There are many room types to choose from - suites in the Bayside buildings feel like apartments - a spacious option for families. Adjacent to an enormous grassy area and a fabulous hands-on kids museum, the location is ideal for families with toddlers; meanwhile, immediate access to some of the best biking and hiking in the Bay Area make the lodge perfect for families with older kids as well. |

Cheeca Lodge is a tropical paradise that welcomes families to come and play. The hotel offers something for all ages. A fish stocked swimming lagoon for little ones, family pool, fishing pier, assortment of water sports activities and Camp Cheeca for ages 5-12. The spa and adult pool give parents a place to slip away to while the kids are entertained. The restaurant offers a nice children’s menu, but the rooms are so comfortable you might be tempted to order room service and enjoy dinner on your balcony. Oceanfront rooms offer a view that can’t be beat. The only thing you won’t like is leaving. |

A fantastic ski house that sleeps over 20 and is loaded with amenities for a multi-family stay. Huge open kitchen/dining and family area with a large fireplace. Beautiful views of lake. Kitchen is great for conversation and relaxing. Very kid-friendly. 2 lower floors have the rooms with bedrooms most having an en-suite or bathroom directly across from the bedroom. Located in desirable Dollar Point - a short drive to restaurants etc. Pool is nearby and is included in the rental. Fantastic place for multiple families. |

The Clay Brook is brand new, so everything is very clean and well done. Hands-down the best feature is the location for skiing—you can literally walk off the slopes and drop your skis with the valet and that's it! They even have boot warmers available—talk about luxury! Our kids loved the outdoor heated pool and got a kick out of swimming and jumping in snow at the same time. The decor is traditional and comfortable; rooms are spacious with full kitchens. If you call ahead, they will even stock the fridge for you. Fabulous! |

Located in the heart of California’s Central Coast, Dolphin Bay is an exceptional oceanfront getaway. Comprised entirely of 1 and 2 bedroom suites, guest units feel like luxurious apartments with fully equipped kitchens, laundry facilities, and spacious living areas. The suites are so well-designed and decorated that it would be easy to settle in comfortably for a week or more. The bluff-side setting is our favorite feature—many of the suites have phenomenal views of the ocean and rugged coastline. The physical footprint of the hotel is small, with just enough hotel-type amenities to make relaxing a breeze, including a year-round heated pool, excellent restaurant, and spa offering an array of treatments. Shell Beach is a short walk away, and there are a variety of beach communities to explore in the area, as well as access to top notch wine tasting. |

We love that all rooms feature ocean views and pricing is value-oriented. It’s also noteworthy that the property, part of the progressive Joie de Vivre brand, supports the community with consistent donations to local organizations in need. |

This upscale "camping" resort is great for families who want to experience the natural beauty of the California coast without the effort of really roughing it. El Capitan has something for everyone -- easy or challenging hikes into the foothills, a walk to one of the most striking beaches in California, a pool and playground, llamas, horses, bike riding -- it really can't be beat. You can stay in a safari tent equipped with comfortable beds with luxurious bed linens, down comforters, and daily maid service. Or, you can opt for a cabin with small kitchen and plenty of sleeping options. We loved the fact that resort staff will drop off firewood and fire starters to make it easy to build a campfire for s'mores. There's also a great snack bar and gift shop with delicious breakfasts. We stayed during Thanksgiving when they offered to cater our holiday meal and deliver it to our cabin. Not only was the food delicious but they included lovely table decorations to make our Thanksgiving very elegant in an outdoor setting. El Capitan is a delightful family alternative to the fancier resorts of Santa Barbara and a great outdoor experience. |

The Equinox is lovely! Starwood purchased the property and did a major renovation—it is now more sophisticated and very pretty. The food is delicious at both the steakhouse and the tavern, and we love the gorgeous fire-pit and terrace. Despite all the upscale features appreciated by the adults (spa, driving school, golf), there are many families that stay here for the easy access to year-round outdoors activities including falconry school, swimming, hiking, fly fishing, and skiing at nearby Stratton and Bromley. Rooms are spacious and decorated very well. |

What makes the Evergreen Lodge special is the summer camp-style activities. Everything is organized around a central plaza with many entertainment options for all ages including horseshoes, ping pong, and an outdoor fire pit. It is a safe and fun set-up for families. There is a toddler play area and board games available. One particularly nice feature is the affordable children’s menu given that the restaurant is the only option for meals and you can’t keep food in cabins because of bears. The staff is wonderful and offers great local excursion advice and guided activities. Recently renovated Family Cabins are comfortable and ideally configured with pocket doors you can close for separation and privacy. Just a mile from Yosemite National Park, access to park attractions and a wide variety of outdoor adventures is easy. |

The Fairmont Miramar is one of the landmark hotels in Santa Monica. The atmosphere is lively and social, even more so now that they’ve opened a top-notch organic restaurant called Fig. The lush garden is wonderful, and there is even a bit of green grass for kids to run around. My favorite feature for families is the Miramar Beach Club with chairs, butler service, and sports rentals—the club is only available to hotel guests. This amenity provides a comfortable way to enjoy the gorgeous Santa Monica Beach. Ideally located on Wilshire Boulevard with easy access to area attractions, shopping and restaurants. |

We love the extensive activities offered at the Fairmont Scottsdale including a children’s program, multiple swimming pools (one with 2 long, curvy slides), a lake where you can fish, golf, and a full spa. Mini-golf, Cracker Jax race cars, and a train park with a carousel are nearby. There are multiple restaurants onsite, in addition to other good options in the area. We opted for the casita room with plenty of space and comfortable beds.

FireSky Resort & Spa is the perfect alternative to the vast number of huge hotels in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area. Owned by the family-favorite brand Kimpton Hotels, this boutique property is charming and well-appointed. Guest rooms are large, the staff is outstanding, and there are wonderful common spaces for relaxing. One of the pools is perfect for kids of all ages with a sandy entrance. Because the resort is smaller, the pool area is not complete chaos and it is easy to keep track of your kids. Little amenities like wine hour and morning coffee are a treat for parents. The Jurlique spa has a warm and cozy ambiance with a small workout room. Located in the heart of Scottsdale, there is plenty to do nearby. Best of all, the hotel dog, Bosco, is adorable and makes everyone feel welcome from the moment they arrive. |

Our girls are still asking when they can go back to Hualalai and tell us that this trip to Hawaii was the best vacation they've every had. The highlight for them was the extensive and creative activities for kids of all ages including unique and cultural programs like hula dancing and mask making. Every detail for kids has been thought of here - from swim diapers at the pool to customized special treats in the room; the result is parents are able to relax too and everyone enjoys the gorgeous grounds and amenities. There is a saltwater protected lagoon with over 4,000 tropical fish which was great for snorkeling without surf. The food is excellent with a fresh breakfast buffet we all loved. The hotel is luxurious but not pretentious, key for a family-friendly atmosphere. |

Hawks Cay is an all around great hotel option for kids of all ages. We liked it so much we went there three years in a row. There is a terrific pool area with a pirate ship and slide that is perfect young kids and a flexible kids program where there is always some kind of activity happening like painting and games. There are hotel rooms and villa units available. We opted for the villa as they are well-appointed and spacious for families. The property also features tennis, a marina, and an onsite dolphin adventure program. We love that Hawks Cay is small enough so kids can have a bit of independence and walk around on their own. It is also in a convenient location to explore Key West and other fun Florida Keys attractions. |

Despite its corporate roots, this property has adapted to accommodate the traveling family. With fully-functional kitchens in each of their one bedroom suites, as well as cribs and Pack N' Plays available at no extra charge, families can maintain some of their high standards of home. While there are no views or interests within walking distance, the property is clean, quiet and peaceful, and is a great value for families visiting San Diego. |

Honua Kai Resort is an affordable luxury option for families who want top-notch condo amenities paired with the services of an upscale hotel. The 1-3 bedroom suites are ideal for multi-generational trips with kids as they are spacious with room for everyone to spread out. Furnishings are light and contemporary, yet still kid-friendly. Lanais are glass-lined and feature all you need to dine al fresco every night. The beachfront grounds include wide-open spaces for kids to run around. Meals are easy given the onsite gourmet grocery store with all kinds of organic goodies, plus there is a Duke's restaurant onsite and room service is available. Although the beach in front of the hotel is not swimmable for young kids, it’s an excellent place for kayaking and water sports. The pool is the highlight with activities for all ages (they have a full aquatic playground) plus cabanas to escape the sun in comfort and style. |

Located in the heart of Manhattan's Upper West Side, the Hotel Beacon is a landmark hotel that is a haven for smart tourists seeking a more residential experience in the Big Apple. The Beacon is a perfect base for a family visiting New York. It's situated in an upscale neighborhood with easy access to the city's fabled food markets, boutiques, top restaurants and the 1,2,3 and 9 and B, C subways. Central Park is 3 blocks away, gracious Riverside Park is 2 blocks, and the hotel is adjacent to the famed Beacon Theater. The lobby is bright and open, the decor is un-fussy but up-to-date (the hotel was recently renovated). Guest rooms are spacious, which is rare in New York, and feature kitchenettes which make it convenient for moms wanting to keep their children fed and hydrated during a whirlwind trip to the city. |

My kids were so psyched to hang out a the gorgeous beach at the Hotel Del Coronado. This luxurious hotel has beautiful rooms and ocean views. The town is cute and the overall area is perfect for walking and bike riding. The hotel has daily kids activities, offers surging lessons, and rents a variety of bikes including cruisers, tandems, and surreys. The restaurant is excellent and welcomes families.

The Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort & Spa couldn’t be in a better location. Directly across from the expansive, beautiful beach - you simply walk across the hotel's pedestrian bridge to cross the Pacific Coast Highway. If you’re not in the mood to get sandy, take the kids to the Resort’s private water playground Slyders. Complete with three slides, a kids’ pool, wading pool and oversized hot tub, they’ll never want to leave. Reasonable priced resort dining, complete with kids’ menus. There’s also a small grocery store where you can buy snacks and supplies for nightly "s’mores" that you roast over a poolside fire pit. There’s an arcade, on-site surfing lessons and bike rentals, large workout facility and spa for adult relaxation. It’s just a 5-minute drive from the Huntington Beach Pier, but you can make it even easier by taking the resort shuttle. |

The Hyatt Regency is a wonderful hotel option for families visiting Lake Tahoe. Luxury in every sense, from super-comfy bedding to dark chocolates at turndown. Great location and a warm feeling. We had a corner suite. The parents' bedroom not only felt like a spa with its warm tones and plush linens, but it was set up in just the right way with the sleeping area for the kids on a pull-out sofa in the living room. The bathroom was also configured to be very private so that nobody (kids or adults) would wake the others when using it in the middle of the night. |

There are few views more spectacular than the one from the porch of the Idaho Rocky Mountain Ranch - the dramatic peaks of the Sawtooth Mountains dominate the setting. The 80-year old ranch is authentic on the outside but modern and comfortable inside. Cozy cabins with connecting doors are optimal for families. There are endless outdoor activities to choose from in this area including world-class hiking, biking, fishing, and horseback riding. Kids love the hot springs mineral pool and there is an evening kids program with games and activities that my 5-year-old still raves about. The bottom line is everyone has an opportunity to unwind here and take advantage of the incredible setting.

The Inn at Sugar Bowl is one of the few moderately priced Tahoe accommodations that is ski-in/ski-out. The historic lodge is casual and comfortable—kids of all ages are everywhere. Rooms are quirky and somewhat dated, but the phenomenal, convenient location makes up for any lack of polish. The staff is young, friendly, and available to help you bring up, store and take down your ski gear. The inviting lobby lounge is an ideal venue for family games and apres ski fun. |

Set right on the recently redeveloped harbor, the Intercontinental is in the perfect spot to take advantage of all the family-friendly Boston activities. You can walk to the Children's Museum, the Aquarium, the North End, The ICA, Faneuil Hall, and many parts of the Freedom Trail. This is my favorite area to stay in Boston.
The hotel is very new, with an upbeat modern decor that is sophisticated and tasteful. The delicious restaurant that opens up to a large lawn, the sushi bar and the spa were big hits. Also, the pool and workout facility are outstanding. It's glass enclosed and provides a view out over the new Rose Kennedy Walkway. |

The location for InterContinental The Clement Monterey is absolutely ideal for families adjacent to the Monterey Aquarium and steps from the walking/biking path that continues along the ocean. Families can buy multi-day passes for the aquarium, so things like otter feedings are easy to catch and little kids can go back to the hotel easily for naps. The hotel has an outdoor deck with fabulous views overlooking the bay (otters and seals too) - with heat lamps, firepits, and a casual menu - it's a great spot for a family dinner. The property is adjacent to a number of casual, kid-friendly dining options. There is also a well-appointed kids club for ages 4-12 complete with a mini-climbing wall. The hotel is new so rooms are fresh and comfortable. Suites are very spacious and well-configured for families, although a room with two queens will work to keep pricing down if separate sleeping areas are not required.

Loews offers a variety of unique programs and services for children; including lending libraries of games, special children's menus which include healthy options, tours, Fisher-Price welcome gifts, and supervised recreational programs. There is also a zero entry pool that is a safe and fun way to enjoy the magnificent pool with small kids. Highlights include Lincoln Road Mall (three blocks away) - an open-air pedestrian promenade filled with restaurants, outdoor cafes, stores, art galleries, and (at night) street performers. It's lined with plenty of benches, lush foliage, and colorful storefronts. A great place for walking strollers or hanging out and having a coffee/drink break with your older children. The hotel is at the far end of South Beach on the beach so guests have access to a private part of the beach and are away from the "action" of Ocean Drive, yet close enough to enjoy the sights.

Featuring a wide range of activities for all ages including a kids’ club and a nearby zip-line, the property is very family-friendly with year-round things to do. Our children love the old-fashioned hotel atmosphere with a huge lounge where they can play games in front of the fire. Over the winter months, there’s a shuttle available to take guests the ski hill; we’re comfortable having our older boys use the shuttle on their own, so we aren’t constantly driving them around. This means independence for them and a break for us. The food is excellent at the restaurants as well. |

This historic, classic Boston hotel is perfectly situated just footsteps from Boston Common the Freedom Trail. It’s also close to both the Waterfront area and Back Bay. What really put this hotel on the map for me is the amazing Freedom Trail Suite! This suite is huge, well-designed, and entertaining for all ages featuring a children's sleeping nook with bunk beds. The room is loaded with coloring books, dress-up clothes, books, and games. It's one of the best family suites I've seen anywhere. There's only one, so be sure to book ahead!

There is also a game room with an arcade and billiard-style games, Playstation, and a TV room. A continuously running shuttle transports guests around the property and is a fun adventure for younger children who enjoy “catching a ride” after an hour or two at the hotel playground or the walking trails. |

The Park Hyatt Beaver Creek is in an incredible location with ideal access to the chair lifts, ski school, restaurants, and shopping. The hotel overlooks the ice skating rink in town and we can walk out our door to a million activities. Our favorite feature is the kid-friendly lobby—there is an enormous fireplace where people of all ages hang out and relax. The concierge service is unbelievable—the staff will manage anything and everything you need. The gym is absolutely top notch too, with excellent machines and yoga. We love the mountain set-up here for families with an extensive amount of intermediate terrain. |

PlumpJack Squaw Valley Inn is one of the few upscale, boutique hotels in the North Lake Tahoe area. Standard double rooms with 2 queen size beds are available, plus they have a few connecting room options as well. Kid-friendly amenities are limited, but for families seeking a high-end, intimate hotel experience, PlumpJack fits the bill. The lovely landscaped pool area is perfect for summer fun and the hotel is an ideal home-base for alpine skiing given that it is walking access to Squaw Valley lifts, ski school, shops, and restaurants.

The resort was lovely and exceeded our expectations. We all loved it, especially our grandchildren ages 3, 5 and 6. It is set on 240 acres in the desert, centrally located at the foot of Mount San Jacinto. The resort has undergone a multi-million dollar makeover, and has many things to offer: three pools, a jacuzzi, a 27 hole golf course, 25 tennis courts, a spa with its own pool, children's camp, a water fantasy land called Splashtopia - a neat aquatic playground including a lazy river, two 100 foot water slides, and a small sand beach. The property also has two nice boutiques. There are umbrellas, but renting a cabana during very hot summer days guarantees shade and aprivacy for relaxing and having lunch or snacks. |

The Seaport Boston Hotel welcomes families with a casual and friendly approach. It’s located on Boston Harbor, just a few blocks from the Children’s Museum and The New England Aquarium, in the trendy Four Point Channel district. The rooms have big windows with gorgeous views of Boston Harbor—perfect for watching the planes and boats. The sun-filled swimming area is a great amenity to help kids blow off steam. There is also a great workout area and daily exercise classes. We appreciated the thoughtful, healthy options on the kids' menu. We’ve been going to Aspen for 4-5 weeks every summer for years and I know of no condo-hotel that is nicer or better run in Aspen than The Gant. Many of their guests return year-after-year and there are always kids of all ages around. A big part of the appeal is that it feels like home here—the property is well-appointed with the ideal combination of condo amenities and hotel services like daily maid service. Other onsite facilities include a snack bar, well-maintained swimming pools, and extremely helpful reception staff. Located just a 2-minute walk from town, you don’t feel like you are on top of everything yet there is easy access to restaurants and shopping. |

Every element of our experience at Paws Up was phenomenal. The sheer beauty of the resort, mountains, and rivers is beyond compare. Our extended family took over Tent City. They call it “glamping”—the best of camping and a luxury hotel. Each and every need and desire was handled immediately with a smile and attention to detail. We had our own “butler” for the tent—by the end of the week he was part of the family. As far as activities go, there was never a dull moment from horseback riding, ATV drives, fishing, and skeet shooting to name a few. Pelican Hill is in a terrific location along the Newport Coast, between Laguna Beach and Newport Beach. While not directly on the beach, the resort has gorgeous views of the ocean and Catalina Island. Beach-going families can take a 5-minute shuttle ride to the famed Crystal Cove State Park beach where beach chairs and umbrellas are available for resort guests. A golf course winds through the expansive grounds and there are shuttles and golf carts to transport guests around the resort. Accommodations are single-story bungalows and villas. The villas feel more like a neighborhood than a hotel; it’s not uncommon to see kids riding bikes and scooters around the streets. The spacious villas have a private entrance, a clubhouse with a pool, and stand-out service with a concierge and butler available during your stay. The Camp Pelican Kids' Club is a highlight with indoor/outdoor kid-only zones and well trained counselors. We love the Ritz-Carlton Half Moon Bay as a unique and relaxing seaside getaway for local Bay Area families and visitors alike. Ireland-meets-California in this spectacular setting comprised of cliffs and breathtaking ocean views. It's hard to believe the location is just 23 miles from the San Francisco airport. Public areas are grand but it's the glorious outdoor terrace and walking paths that attract families from around the world. We easily got an early check in (to make naptime), carried nothing but our son to the room and found a nice crib with brand new linens, baby toiletries and a stuffed animal in our room. The bathrooms are large enough to put the crib inside affording grown-ups privacy. Located South of Market, this is an easy walk to adult play (restaurants, bars and shopping) as well as kid play (Metreon, carousel, gardens). It's also a doable walk to Market street to pick up a cable car and to The Embarcadero to check out the Ferry Building. Food's terrific as is the service. |

During our stay at The Westin Verasa Napa, there were more kids and dogs relaxing in the lobby lounge than couples on a romantic getaway. Part of the new riverfront development in the city of Napa, this hotel is a convenient and well-appointed home-base for exploring Napa Valley. The attraction for families at this property is the spacious, value-oriented guest rooms with kitchen facilities and sofa beds - it feels like having your own Napa apartment instead of a hotel room. The décor is casual, modern and tasteful. The service is friendly with an excellent concierge. This is not the typical vineyard-view, idyllic Napa getaway since the location is in town, but there is a nice pool and several good restaurants are within walking distance including casual options that are perfect for kids.

I discovered this boutique hotel while traveling on business. I immediately brought my family here for a long weekend. We love it, and continue to come as often as possible.The hotel is pristine and inviting as soon as you enter the lobby. The rooms, which are mostly suites, have upscale white linen decor, but also happen to be comfortable. The 2 and 3 bedroom suites are magnificent. The food is very good, both poolside and in the dining room. The pool and beach are well groomed and not very crowded. There's a small gym on site. Most impressive of all, is the staff. They are helpful, friendly, attentive and genuinely interested in making your stay a memorable one. My son will remember his 10th birthday forever, thanks to the thoughtfulness of 2 of the employees at the Vero Beach Hotel. |

Set on 113 acres and bordered by a 4,000-acre wildlife sanctuary - guests have many activities to choose from here from bike riding to hiking to hot air ballooning. Rooms are themed with many creative options including a treehouse perched 30 feet off the ground. The staff was great and very welcoming. Having an onsite babysitter was just amazing, this enabled my husband and I to go to the spa and have a couples massage and then enjoy an evening with other adults. We took the onsite family cooking class with the Executive Chef and the Pastry Chef - my family learned how to make homemade pasta as well as cupcakes. The ponds on the property are fun for young kids. Winvian is overall a magical place! |
