The panoramic views of Florence from the Arno-facing rooms at the Westin Excelsior are glorious and one of the reasons why this hotel is a Ciao Bambino favorite for a luxury city stay. The ambiance is grand and old-world�a fun way for families to experience another age. The trade off is that the rooms are not state-of-the-art with all the latest gadgets; although, they are spacious for Europe and well-furnished with the usual Westin �Heavenly� amenities.
