The historic building from the early 20th century was converted into a 50-room hotel in 2004. The AC Palacio del Retiro is a wonderful combination of an old-world building and modern design. Rooms and public areas are open, bright, and comfortable. The central location near Madrid’s famous museums with easy access to a number of interesting neighborhoods is ideal. Our favorite feature is the proximity to the Retiro Park – a perfect oasis for children that need an open space to run around making this property an excellent option for families seeking convenient, high-end accommodations.
