The resort was lovely and exceeded our expectations. We all loved it, and in particular the grandchildren ages 3, 5 and 6 years of age. It is set on 240 acres in the desert, centrally located at the foot of Mount San Jacinto. The resort has undergone a multi-million dollar makeover, and has many things to offer: three pools, a jacuzzi, a 27 hole golf course, 25 tennis courts, a spa with its own pool, children's camp, a water fantasy land called Splashtopia - a neat aquatic playground including a lazy river, two 100 foot water slides, and a small sand beach. The property also has two nice boutiques. There are umbrellas, but renting a cabana during very hot summer days guarantees shade and also privacy for relaxing and having lunch or snacks.

The Riviera Palm Springs feels like a vacation the minute you drive up to the front door with an entertaining mix of social, adult-focused spaces and kid-friendly amenities. The mid-century lobby design captivates every age with bright colors and oversized furnishings including a Liberace-inspired pool table. Rooms are wonderfully designed and top notch for this quality category. There are several large grassy areas for kids to run and play games. The pool experience is the highlight featuring a gorgeous main pool as well as a second option where families tend to congregate. The upscale restaurant has a varied kids menu and possibly the cutest Mickey Mouse pancakes we've ever seen.

Amazing mountain views and starry nights. Guest rooms have all the conveniences of home. The pool area is spectacular highlighted by a water slide that is extremely popular with the kids. There is also a kid's club on premise.
